In June, Every Dollar Makes a Bigger Difference
The Great Canadian Giving Challenge is a national fundraising campaign hosted by CanadaHelps. This June, each $1 you donate to Jean Augustine Centre acts as an entry into a draw for one of two $10,000 donations from CanadaHelps.
The Difference $20,000 Would Mean to JAC
Every dollar you donate increases our chances of winning $20,000. With $20,000, JAC could provide 30 participants daily after-school programs for two months that will inspire and encourage them to reach their full potential and create a life of their choosing.
Some of our most popular programs include Chef’s Catering, which teaches participants how to plan and prepare a meal; Martial Arts, which introduces and develops their skills and improves their physical and mental well-being; and Youth Council, which gives young women the opportunity to lead a service project to benefit their community.
The Jean Augustine Centre is grateful for a generous community of support that allows us to provide programs, workshops, and special events to girls and young women that they may not otherwise receive. We couldn’t do it without you!
